MERLE STEWARTwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 25, 1924, son of the late John David and Gladys Hughes Stewart.He was united in marriage to the former Mary Jean Thorne on May 3, 1946.Mr. Stewart was a farmer. He loved to read Western Books, loved Country Music and working word-find puzzles.Mr. Stewart departed this life January 28th at his Residence in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 3 days. Other than his wife, Mary Jean Stewart of Adamsville, Tennesse, he leaves 2 daughters - Rebecca Lewis of Savannah, Tennessee and Jane Sutton of Richardson, Texas.5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
