Michael 'Mike' Davis

Finger, TN: Michael Odell Davis age 68 passed away August 9, 2017 at his home.
He was born February 16, 1949 in Chester County, the son of the late Herman Odell and Lillian Ann Moore Davis. He graduated from Chester County High School in 1967. He worked at Oakley Fashions in Jackson and married Sandra Inman in 1972. They made their home in the Hickory Corner Community. He did construction work and then worked at Grinnell for twelve years.
He enjoyed spending time at the Tennessee River near Pickwick. He raised cows and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to hunt and ride horses.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Sandra Inman Davis of Finger; two sons, Jeff Davis and wife Shonda of Finger and Brandon Davis and wife Brandy of Finger; four grandchildren, Cabe, Dillon, Katlyn and Zowie and three brothers, Kenneth Davis and Larry Davis both of Henderson and Harold Davis of Jackson.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ken Kitchen officiating.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM Saturday.
