Michael Dwayne "Mikeymo" Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Dwayne “Mikeymo” Johnson, age 53, of Florence, AL, who left us on December 4, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1972, Michael was a cherished son of Dwayne Johnson and Brenda Gean Johnson. Michael’s life was marked by love and devotion, especially to his beloved wife, Kimberly Clemmons, whom he married on May 22, 1992. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with warm memories and shared dreams.

An independent construction contractor, Michael dedicated many years to his work, showcasing his skill and craftsmanship. His passions extended beyond his profession; he found joy in the thrill of muscle cars and the tranquility of fishing. However, nothing brought him more happiness than cheering on his favorite team, the Alabama Football team, a testament to his deep-rooted pride in his community.

Michael’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by family and friends. As we remember his life, let us carry forward the lessons of love and passion he so wonderfully embodied.

He survived by his wife, Kimberly Johnson of Florence, AL; his son, Cody Johnson of Florence, AL; father, Dwayne Johnson (Brenda); mother, Brenda Gean Johnson; sister, Whitney McBrayer of Madison, AL; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

At the families request, Michael will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be announced at a later time.
