Michael DeWayne Garner

Michael DeWayne Garner, was born June 9, 1964 in Lobelville, TN the son of Jerry and Katie Tatum Garner. He graduated in 1982 from Wayne County High school and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, listening to his favorite music and spending time with his son and granddaughter. Mike departed this life at his home in Waynesboro on September 15, 2021 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 57 Years, 3 Months, 6 Days.
He is survived by his parents Jerry and Katie Garner; son, James Michael Garner; granddaughter, Layla Garner; sister, Stephanie Barnett and husband Andy; brother, Jon Garner and companion Bonnie Bowen all of of Waynesboro, TN;
He is preceded in death by by his brother Gregory Lynn Garner
At his request his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
