Michael Harris

Thomas Michael Harris was born December 22, 1947 in Jackson, TN the son of the late Richard Thomas and Clara Mae Stidham Harris.

Mr. Harris retired from General Electric after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee. He was an avid collector of pocket watches, oil lamps, and antiques. He enjoyed camping, yard sales and going to auctions. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Harris departed this life on December 27, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 5 Days. He is survived by his life companion, Terry Knight Harris of Selmer, TN; four daughters, Jennifer Robison and husband Jonathan of Bethel Springs, TN, Jessica Ray and husband Michael of Selmer, TN, Kristi Estes of Selmer, TN, Tara Harris of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Marie Adkins of Southaven, MS, Ima Jo Arnold and husband Carmen of Selmer, TN; a brother, Franklin Harris of Selmer, TN; ten grandchildren, Elijah and Japheth Robison, Hailey, Matthew, and Tyler Ray, Austin Miller, Destiny and Braxton Estes, Jagger Maness, and Dustin Horan; and a host of extended family and friends.


In addition to his parents, Mr. Harris was preceded in death by a brother, James Daryl Harris.
