Michelle Renae Pearson

Michelle Renae Pearson was born on September 17, 1966 in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of the late James "Jamie" Marvin Pearson and Betty Lou Mitchell.

Michelle was an extremely talented woman who walked many different lives, from being an ordained minister, OG Biker, honey farmer, and a retired painter. She loved reading and learning, crime shows, and single handedly kept Buffalo Rock in business. She was a strong willed, fire in her soul woman who overcome many obstacles and adversity. She had many titles, from best friend to Mama, but her favorite by far was Ninny as she was known by her army of grandchildren.

Michelle Renae Pearson departed this life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in Hardin County, Tennessee, at the age of 58 years, 11 months, and 16 days.

She is survived by her daughters, Karyn Greer of Jemison, Alabama and Emily Smithey of Shelby, Alabama; son, William Smithey of Jemison, Alabama; sister, Sharon McNees of Trussville, Alabama; and grandchildren, Aly Greer, Cason Greer, Cayden Greer, Ayden Smithey, Tucker Smithey, Nick Adams, Tristan Lucas, and Ava Smithey. Michelle is also survived by her partner, Jeff Storey; his son, Jeffrey Storey; and his grandchildren, JT Storey and Lucas Storey.
