Middleton, Tennessee

Mickey Wayne Blevins, 65, of Middleton, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Bolivar General Hospital.

The son of the late G. L. Blevins and Ollie June Hopper Blevins, he was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and lived in Dallas prior to moving to Hardeman County on Christmas Eve, 1994.  He was a resident of the Middleton Community for the past 12 years.

Mickey married Tommie Kay Warren on December 18, 1986 and had been owner/operator of Blevins Compressor Service from 1995 - 2018.  He and his wife were also owners of Toone Hardware in Toone, TN (where they lived for 18 years) since 2009.  He was an active member of Hope Recovery Church in Medon where he assisted in the maintenance of the building.  In his own quiet way, he deeply cared for others and showed his love through his actions.

In his leisure time, Mickey enjoyed fishing, working on his race truck and spending time with his dogs, Dingo and Blue Boy.

He leaves his wife of 37 years, Tommie Blevins of Middleton; two grandchildren, Jonathan Watkins and Trey Trammell; and, two older sisters.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Lee Pace; one sister and two brothers.
