MIKE NIKOLA
Henderson, TN: Michael Edward Nikola, age 77, passed away January 13, 2019 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Monroe, NY the son of the late Charles and Loretta Kasch Nikola Smith and the late Myron Elliott Smith. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1959. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for thirty-five years in New York. He retired in 1997 and moved to Tennessee. He enjoyed living in Tennessee, golfing, listening to music and was an avid sports fan. Beth and Nathan Hurst became Mike’s Tennessee family.
Mr. Nikola is survived by his sister, Linda Park of Norwich, VT; a brother-in-law, Jonathan Park; a nephew, Justin Park; a niece, Hilary Park Booth and two aunts, Janet Kasch Grasselena and Carole Glasspool.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 21st, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday.
