Mildred Lois "Millie" Christopher

Mildred Lois (Millie) Christopher was born September 18, 1921 in Laurel, MS, the daughter of the late John Robert and Emma Courtney Manning.

Mrs. Christopher was a Preschool Sunday School Teacher and a Sunday School Secretary for over 30 years at Falcon Baptist Church of Selmer, TN. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the McNairy County Regional Hospital and a Mary Kay consultant for 20 plus years.

Mrs. Christopher departed this life on November 16, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 1 Month, 30 Days.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Willard Davis and wife Phyllis of Euless, TX, Larry Joel Davis of Selmer, TN; 5 grandchildren, Yvette Ash, Richard Davis, Melissa Miton, Clint Davis, and Bronson Davis; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Walters and Lois Welch, both of Mississippi; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Christopher was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Christopher; a grandchild, Jayne Davis; two sisters, Wilma Ruth Hankins and Gladys Saul; and two brothers, John Duncan Manning and Bobby Joe Manning.
