Mildred Counce

Mildred W. Councewas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 8, 1919 the daughter of the late David and Maud Walker.She was united in marriage to James E. Counce on December 3, 1937. He preceded her in death November 21, 1990.Mrs. Counce was a Homemaker/Artist, former member of Barnhill Methodist Church here in Savannah, Tennessee. She was in the Home Demonstration Club, a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Savannah Art Guild.Mrs. Counce departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 92 years, 8 months, 21 days.She is survived by her son Robert Counce and wife Sharon of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; a daughter Marilyn Canale of Gibsonville, North Carolina; a daughter-in-law Bettye Counce of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; 2 sisters Ann Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee and Lois Dean Johnson of Mars Hill, North Carolina.In addition to her husband James E. Counce, her parents David and Maud Walker she was preceded in death by a son Mark Counce, 2 brothers Brown Walker and Graham Walker, 1 sister Chrystal Harville.
