Mildred Lowrean Dunn, age 88 departed this life on Thursday, September 12, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born April 15, 1930 in Chester County, TN the daughter of the late Robert Ervin and the late Hassie Rebecca Hill Smith. She attended school in Chester County and was married to Raymond W. Dunn in 1946. Mr. Dunn served in the military for 21 years so they traveled extensively. They returned to Henderson in 1996. Mr. Dunn died on November 11, 2004. Mrs. Dunn was a beautician for over 40 years.
She is survived by a son, Harold Darnell Dunn and wife Jean of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a daughter Karen Jeanette Sekan of Cody, Wyoming.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert Erlon Smith and Merle Smith; two sisters Dovie Avis Smith and Evie Smith; and a son-in-law George Sekan.
Funeral Services will be 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 14 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s East Main Chapel with Charlie Crouthers officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Enville.
The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM Friday until service time at East Main.
