Mrs. Foster died Friday evening at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
The daughter of the late Claude and Jennie Mae Wilson Wilbanks, she lived most all of her life in Hardeman County. On June 14, 1958, she married Wallace F. Foster and they enjoyed 52 years together. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting and gardening, especially her flowers and loved her grandchildren. She was a member of Central Baptist Church near Middleton and had been a Sunday School Teacher while attending New Bethel Baptist Church.
She leaves as her survivors her husband, Wallace F. Foster of Middleton; three daughters, Sandra Scott Haven and husband, Barry, of Byhalia, MS, Teresa Carter and husband, Ted, of Savannah, and Angela Daniel of Hickory Flat, MS; two sons, James Foster and wife, Lisa, of Middleton and Chris Foster and wife, Karen, also of Middleton; three sisters, Clara Alsup of Walnut, MS, Lois Fields and Shirley Allen, both of Middleton; three brothers, Wayman and Billy Wayne Wilbanks, both of Cullman, AL and Rickey Wilbanks of Pontotoc, MS; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Claudia and Mae Wilbanks and Ruth Taylor; and five brothers, Robert, Thadis, Tommy, W. B. and Claude Wilbanks, Jr.
