MILDRED SUE ( MA SUE ) FRANKS JONES
was born in Lutts, Tennessee on on February 17, 1935 the daughter of the late Henry Caywood and Nora Iona May Franks.
On September 11, 1948 she was united in marriage to Louie Hillard Jones, who survives.
Mildred had worked for Savannah Manufacturing, Hardin County Board of Education and Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ and Woodmen of the World. In her spare time Mildred enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, canning and working in her flowers. Her greatest joy was talking to family and friends on the phone and preparing Sunday lunch for family and friends.
She departed this life on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 22 days.
In addition to her husband of 71 years, Louie Hillard Jones of Savannah, Tennessee, Mildred is survived by her children, Linda Davis and her husband Larry of Savannah, Tennessee, Maxie Jones and his wife Paula of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee and Regina Thomas and her husband Ricky of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lori Anne Harris and her husband John and their children, Chandler Davis Harris, Delaney Addison Harris and Cooper Dawson Harris, Chad Davis and his wife Mandy and their children, Cortlynn Rachel Davis and Audrey Cate Davis, Chris Jones and his wife Ginny and their children, Jaycee Kay Jones, and Alexis "Lexi" Kate Jones, Amber Thomas, Clint Jones and his wife Twylla and their daughter, Willa Kate Jones, and Amy Hunt and her husband Cameron and their children, Henry Paul Hunt and Thomas Grady Hunt; sister, Robbie Hall of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Tharp, Gladys Harmon and Birdie Gillmore and thirteen brothers, Joe Franks, William Franks, Samuell O'Dell Franks, Warren Gene Franks, Grady Franks, Lawerance Franks, Carmack Franks, Corbin Franks, Kermit Franks, Elmer Franks, Clifford Franks, Jesse Franks, and Archie Franks.
