Mildred Helen Pitman was born on March 10, 1952, in Beckley, West Virginia, to the late George Cecil and Allie Runoion Cecil. She lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love.
Mildred had a passion for simple pleasures. Whether she was engaged in a phone game, immersed in a word search, or enjoying the tranquility of fishing, she found happiness in every moment. Her love for flowers and animals reflected the warmth and kindness she radiated throughout her life.
Above all, Mildred cherished her time with family. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her loved ones, particularly her son and her adored grand nieces. Her ability to uplift those around her with her smiles and caring nature was truly a gift.
Mildred departed this life on July 10, 2025, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, at the age of 73. As we remember her today, let us celebrate the beautiful life she led and the loving memories she created. Mildred may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts.

Burns and girlfriend Amanda Bonee, and Richard Pitensbarger; a niece, Alice Burns; great nieces, Lisa Burger and her children: Amilee N.
