Mildred Ann Robbins

Mildred Ann Horton Robbins of Collinwood, TN was born October 6, 1934 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Arch W. and Goldie Ollie Victory Horton. She was united in marriage to H. B. Robbins and he preceded her in death on February 1, 1992.

Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker and attended Cromwell Crossroads Community Church in Collinwood, Tennessee. She had resided at Waynesboro Health and Rehab in Waynesboro, TN since July, 2015 and departed this life onThursday, December 31, 2015 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 2 Months, 25 Days.

She is survived by a son, Harlon (Jiggs) Robbins; daughters, Barbara Ayers and husband, Billy, Diane Overstreet and significant other, Benny Holt and Regina Williams and husband, Brandon all of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren, Shane (Pork Chop) Petty and wife, Christy, Shannon Petty, Stacy Robbins, Carla Robbins and fiancee', Michael Shedd and Felicia Hill and husband, Buddy; step-grandchildren, Lindsey, Jax and Tristen Williams; great-grandchildren, Emily and Riley Petty, Jeremiah and Shawn Robbins and Brennan Dicus; step-great-grandchildren, Asia and J. J. Perry; a brother, David Horton of Westpoint, TN; son-in-law, Kenneth (Shorty) Petty of Lutts, TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Petty; brothers, Wendell and Paul Horton and a sister, Joyce Rich Skelton.

Services will be Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jerry L. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Randy Robbins, Larry Robbins, Bobby Robbins, Shane Petty, Shannon Petty, Michael Melson, Stacy Holt and Buddy Hill.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
