Miley Kilburn, Jr. was born on February 9, 1937 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of the late Miley Russell Kilburn, Sr. and Cecile Rebecca Kelly Kilburn.
On December 12, 1980, he was united in marriage to Louise Smith, who survives.
Mr. Kilburn attended Solitude Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He was the co-owner of Kilburn's Chrome Plating for 18 years and after retiring he helped Danny at his plating shop for over 15 years. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved his family and friends.
Miley Kilburn, Jr. departed this life on January 27, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 18 days.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Kilburn of Adamsville, Tennessee; sons, Freddy Kilburn of Adamsville, Tennessee, Danny Kilburn of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Tim Kilburn of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Lisa Kilburn Hudson of Savannah, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Lisa Durbin of Adamsville, Tennessee; stepson, Dennis Hatch of Adamsville, Tennessee; brother, Leon Kilburn of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Joyce Childers of Killen, Alabama, Norma Rene Irvin of South Bend, Indiana, and Emma Lois Beeler of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Brad Kilburn and his wife Brooke, Steven Kilburn and his wife Heather, Brandon Kilburn and his wife Anna, Brittany McNutt and her husband Michael, Morgan Warren and her husband Jerry, Cecilee Lindsey, Miley Kilburn; great grandchildren, Kimberlyn Lindsey, Rylee Kilburn, Cooper Kilburn, Wilkes McNutt, Whitt McNutt, Adalyn Kilburn, and Cannon Kilburn; 4 step grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Miley was preceded in death by his daughter, Penni Marler and brothers, Clemon Kilburn, Charles Kilburn, Willie Paul Kilburn, and T.J. Kilburn.
