Minnie C. Brown

was born January 1, 1929 in Collinwood, TN the daughter of the late William Riley and Lina Horton Robbins. She was united in marriage to Fred Brown on December 23, 1945. Mr. Brown preceded her in death on July 26, 2002 .Mrs. Brown departed this life on April 14, 2019 at the Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days.

She was a retired employee of Angelica Corporation and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by four sons, Glenn Brown and wife Pat of Collinwood, TN, William E. Brown and wife Gale of Iron City, TN, Dannie Brown and wife Debbie of Cypress Inn, TN, Freddie Brown and wife Cindy of Murfreesboro, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth Faye Balentine of Collinwood, TN; grandchildren; Chad Balentine, Jessica Smith, Ben Brown, Ken Brown, Debbie Brown Burns, Stephanie Holt, Sharlotte Howell, Bradlee Susan Butler, William Edward Brown II, and Ashley Thomas, 17 great grandchildren and a brother, Tennie Robbins of Waynesboro, TN;

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by four brothers, Jasper Robbins, Henry Robbins, Charlie Robbins, Ed Robbins; three sisters, Mary Townsend, Icie Johnson, Mamie Melson; a grt-grandchild, Eli Matthew Howell; and son-in-law Donald Balentine.

Services will be held on April 17, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine, John E. Banks and Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee. Visitation begining Tuesday April 16 from 6:00 PM till 9:00 PM and Wednesday April 17 begining from 10:00 AM till service time.
