Mollie Marie Maness

Mollie Marie Maness, 64, of Jackson, Mississippi passed away on April 13, 2017.

Mollie was born in Corinth, Mississippi on June 30, 1952 to the late Amo and Florence Evelyn Gooch Maness. She attended Corinth High School and the Mississippi State College for Women, where she gained her Bachelor's in Speech Pathology. She later attended Mississippi College, where she gained a Masters in Hearing Communications. She worked as a speech pathologist and taught at many different schools in and around the metro area. Mollie was a proud member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Mollie is survived by two special companions, Linda C. Elliott and Vertena "Yogi" Shoto; and numerous cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Mollie's choices would be the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association or Stroke Association.
