Muriel Dawn Warner

Mrs. Warner passed away early Monday morning at Regional Hospital in Jackson.
She was born in Ferndale, Michigan, the daughter of the late Helge Jacobson and Mable Risberg Jacobson and spent her early years there. She married Harold Oatley Warner on December 15, 1940. Mr. Warner died November 29, 2008. Prior to moving to Grand Junction in 1968, she had lived in San Diego, CA and Seattle, WA. Mrs. Warner was a member of the Grand Junction Methodist Church and enjoyed caring for her children and cooking.
She leaves four daughters, Joanne Telfer of Germantown, TN, Connie Dunn of Los Angeles, CA, Peggy Matthews of Rosemark, TN and Linda Warner of Somerville; 1 son, Sid Warner of Henderson; and three sisters, Barbara Heighlener, Dorothy Mayo and Carmen McAfee, all of Michigan; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold Warner; four sisters and one brother.
