Murley Jerome Reid

Mr. Murley Jerome Reid of Bolivar departed this life at the age of 69 years Wednesday morning, June 19, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Reid was born in Rogers Springs, Tennessee February 26, 1944 to the late Murley and Georgia Cooper Reid. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School with the Class of 1962 and was united in marriage to Sharon Reid, who survives, February 17, 1968. He served in the Tennessee National Guard for seven years and was a manager of commercial development in information systems. He was Presbyterian in faith and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Corinth.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Ashley Reid Buske and husband Robert of Olive Branch; two sons, Brandon Reid and wife Jennifer of Houston, Texas and Seth Reid of Memphis; a sister, Joyce Reid Horn and husband Will of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Brady Reid, Julia Reid and Carson Buske; a niece, Reid Horn Nelson and husband David and their son Cooper of Houston, Texas; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Judy Reid Woods who passed away in 2009.
