Murrell Anthony Johnson was born May 23, 1965 in Henderson, TN the son of James Merle and Carolyn Ann Miller Johnson. He attended schools in Chester County. Mr. Johnson departed this life on January 2, 2016 in Henderson, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 7 Months, 10 Days.
He was united in marriage to Melanie Leigh Lucas on May 15, 2006 and they made their home in Henderson. He was a diesel mechanic and worked for many years at Bailey Brothers Trucking in Henderson. He loved to fish and enjoyed music and working outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and helping others.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Melanie Leigh Lucas of Henderson, TN; four sons, Steven Johnson of Reagan, TN, and stepsons Dylan Wayne Lucas of Henderson, TN, Dustin Riley Armstrong of Henderson, TN, Tristin Andrew Armstrong of Henderson, TN; a stepdaughter Sarah Marcle of Portland, OR; a sister, Pam Cagle of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Keith Johnson of Jacks Creek, TN.
He is preceded in death by a son, Eric Lee Johnson.
