MYRNA REDMON MALONE

Finger, TN: Myrna Redmon Malone age 79 passed away June 18, 2025, at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 31, 1945, in Finger, TN, the daughter of the late Colonel Roosevelt and Crystal Ward Redmon. She was a graduate of Chester County High School and attended West TN Business College in Jackson.

She was united in marriage to Burl Wayne Malone on November 2, 1968.

She and Burl owned and operated Henderson Chainsaw and Small Engine Repair that later became known as Malone’s in 1971.

She enjoyed painting and was an avid gardener. She was lighthearted and always wore a smile.

She was Baptist in belief.

Mrs. Malone is survived by a son, John Marcus Malone of Finger and a daughter, Meredith Leigh Malone of Finger; a brother, Jere Redmon (Liz) of Adamsville and a sister, Doris Armour (Bobby) of South Haven, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Burl Wayne Malone on December 4, 2012, and two sisters, Janette Armour and Louise Mosier.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 20th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with burial to follow at Harmony Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at East Main 8:30 AM until 11:00 AM service time Friday.
