Services for Myrtle D. Reaves, 81 of Florence will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Collinwood with Emerald Bailey and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge.Visitation will be Monday, August 10th 6:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday, 11:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood. A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Ann EatonTidwell. She died Saturday at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. She was precded in death by her husband, Richard C. Reaves; sisters, Nella Dodd and Rhoda Reaves; and a brother, Johnny Clyde Tidwell. Mrs. Reaves, a homemaker was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by her son, Billy Reaves and wife Margie of Florence, AL; grandson, Ricky Reaves and wife Becky of Athens, Al and granddaugher, Julie Reaves Thigpen of Florence, AL; five great grandchildren, Erika Reaves, Loren Thigpen, Daniel Reaves, Caitlyn Reaves, and Emily Thigpen; four sisters, Mae Hinton, Pearl Dean, and Jean Montgomery all of Cloverdale, AL and Lucille Balentine of Lutts, TN.
