Nadine Bailey

Nadine Bailey was born on October 19, 1939, the daughter of the later Bedford and Ruth Fox Benson.

In 1973, she was united in marriage to Clarence Jr. Bailey, who preceded his wife in death on December 14, 2002.

Nadine was a faithful member of Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She found great joy in spending time outdoors, and in her younger years, she enjoyed going fishing. Nadine treasured her family, and cherished time spent with them. She especially enjoyed spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Nadine departed this life on Monday, July 27, 2026, in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Benson (Teresa) of Savannah, Tennessee; sister, Vernell Copeland of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jessie Ray Benson and Bradley Wayne Benson, both of Savannah, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Kaden Davis, Gunner Benson, Raelyn Benson, Easton Benson, Darcy Benson, and Miles Benson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nadine was preceded in death by her siblings, Hazel Wisdom, Onida Higgins, Herschel Benson, Harold Benson, Garlen Benson, Edward Benson, Troy Benson, and Robert Benson.
