NADINE LOSER

Jacks Creek, TN: Nadine Lavina Wheeler Loser, age 85, passed away Thursday February 19, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Canton, IL on August 15, 1940, the daughter of the late Ferman Dewey and Nellie Grace Gard Wheeler.

Nadine met her husband, Virgil Loser and married on August 10, 1958. Virgil and Nadine enjoyed playing bluegrass music at nursing homes and at bluegrass festivals.They had been married for almost 46 years before his passing.

Nadine was an outdoorsy lady. She was an avid bird watcher who loved all kinds of nature and enjoyed camping.

Out of everything, the most important part of her life was her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by a son, Ferman Leo Loser (Peggy) of Fort Worth, TX; two daughters, Lavina Jennings (Ernie) of Knoxville, TN and Carla LeRoy (Steve) of Saltillo, MS; two sisters, Charlottle Gaines of Galesburg, IL and Joyce Mays of Elmwood, IL; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Loren Wheeler.

There will be no services.
