Nancy Ross Armstrong

Mrs. Nancy Ross Armstrong, age 76 of Tunica, Mississippi, departed this life Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto in Southaven, Mississippi.
She was born in Bolivar, Tennessee on October 20, 1935 to the late Margaret Landis Medling and Louis Dorris Ross. A 1953 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, she worked for Coca Cola as a bookkeeper until 1975. She was united in marriage to William Armstrong April 22, 1966. Mr. Armstrong preceded her in death April 30, 2000. Her past residences include Bolivar, Memphis, Forest City, AR, and Tunica, Mississippi. She was Baptist in faith.
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by a brother, David Ross of Tunica, MS; a nephew, Terry Ross of Finger, TN; three nieces, Diane Austin of Tunica, MS, Lee Ann Naylor of Toone, TN, and April Walker of Red Banks, MS; nine grandnieces and nephews; five great-grandnieces and nephews; and her companion, Don "Slick" Slayton of Tunica, MS.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Ross; and an aunt, Pauline Dollar.
