Nancy Wanuita Brown

Nancy Wanuita Meyer Brown of Collinwood, TN was born September 3, 1943 in Tennessee, IL, the daughter of the late William Meyers and Wanuita Fanschier Meyers. She was united in marriage to William Marsellous Brown in June, 2005.

Mrs. Brown was a retired cook, having worked at the Brass Lantern in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee.

Mrs. Brown departed this life on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 1 Month and 1 Day.

She is survived by her husband, William Marsellous Brown of Collinwood, TN; sons, Richard Gibbs of Lawrenceburg, TN, Randy Gibbs of Peking, IL; step-son, Mark Brown of Mullins, SC; daughter, Nancy Renee Gibbs of Lawrenceburg, TN; step-daughter, Andrea Brown; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchild; a brother, John Meyer and a sister, Stella Helm both of Kentucky.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gibbs.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 1 pm at the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery in Collinwood, Tennessee with Ricky Nelson officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will beTuesday, October 6, 2020 from 11:30 am to service time at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, TN.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Smith, James Vaccaro, Bud Bryant, Nic Retherford , Robert Wright, Jr., Art Green and Jason Wright.
