Nancy Jane Hurst was born December 5, 1951 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Harmon and Olivia Martin Lawson. She was united in marriage to Johnny Hurst on October 13, 2000.
Nancy was formerly employed with Monogram Refrigeration in Selmer. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. She departed this life on November 9, 2015 in Jackson, TN at the age of 63 Years, 11 Months, 4 Days.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Hurst of Hornsby, TN; two sons, Larry McAlpin Jr. and wife Melanie of Adamsville, TN, Chris McAlpin and wife Denise of Selmer, TN; a stepson, Derick Hurst of Selmer, TN; 8 Grandchildren, two sisters, Patsy Martin of Eastview, TN, Sherry Henry of Michie, TN; a brother, Ernest Lawson of Eastview, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two sisters, Earnestine Johnson, Nettie Gastall; a brother, Robert Lawson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
