Nancy Harmon Linam was born on September 15, 1942 in Chester County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Virgil and Mable Gray Harmon.
On October 5, 1961, she was united in marriage to Eddie Linam, who survives.
Nancy was a lifelong resident of the Walkertown Community in Savannah, Tennessee. Growing up, she attended Mt. Zion Church of Christ and after she married she attended Barnhill Methodist Church. Nancy was co-owner of Harmon-Linam Grocery along with her husband, brother, and sister in law, a business her father started. She later worked for WalMart for 30 years. Nancy enjoyed family vacations to Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, making them cookies and chocolate gravy. She loved and cherished all eleven of her nieces and nephews just as her own children.
Nancy Harmon Linam departed this life on February 15, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 83 years and 5 months.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eddie Linam; sons, Randy Linam (Tracy) and Kerry Linam (Brandy); daughters, Jane Tyler (John) and Patricia Johnson (Mitchael); grandchildren, Ellen Linam (fiance' Daniel Cisneros), Jessica Mabry (Corey), Abby Mabry (Preston), Zach Tyler, Lilly Linam, and Eli Linam; and great grandchildren, Daniel, Sylvia, and Eleanor.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Harmon and grandson, Grant Johnson.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Grant's Fund at Gracepoint Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
