NANCY KAY BIVENS MARTIN
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 29, 1948 the daughter of the late Rural Doran and Ruby Jewel Powell Bivens.
On September 2, 1966 she was united in marriage to Harold D. Martin, who survives.
Nancy worked as a seamstress for Garan Manufacturing for 5 years and also had worked for Walmart in Savannah, Tennessee for 1 year. She enjoyed traveling, working in the yard and flowers. Nancy enjoyed talking with everyone especially when she would go to yard sales and would have her own sales. She collected punch bowls, glassware and Barbie dolls. Nancy was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church.
She departed this life on June 7, 2016 at her residence in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 9 days.
In addition to her husband Harold of 49 years, she is survived by her two children, Patricia Kay Carter and Daryl D. Martin, both of Savannah, Tennessee.

three sisters, Carolyn Faye Doster of Sardis, Tennessee, Mary Jo Hughes of Milledgeville, Tennessee and Sherry Lee Holland of Sardis, Tennessee
two brothers, Gerald Dean Bivens of Sardis, Tennessee and Thomas Edward Bivens of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Ann Bivens and Maxine Dickson and two brothers, Bobby Gene Bivens and Jimmy Randolph Bivens.
