Nancy Neill was born in Savannah, Tennessee on December 13, 1939 the daughter of the late Raymond and Cora Lee Talley Cass.
On September 27, 1978, she was united in marriage to Richard Neill who preceded his wife in death on May 21, 2002.
Prior to her retirement, Nancy worked for Angelica as a seamstress and as an escort to mobile homes. Nancy was always helping other people. She loved to read, carry people to their doctor appointments in Jackson, and loved to talk.She always enjoyed taking Brad, Chad, and Nathan Rose to places like Pickwick to feed the ducks and out to eat. She also loved shopping at Goodwill to find a good bargain. Don and Anita Rose took care of her for the past 18 years and she lived with them for the past 5 years.
Nancy Neill departed this life on January 8, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 26 days.
She is survived by her nephews Don Rose and his wife Anita of Savannah, Tennessee and Anthony Rose of Nashville, Tennessee; brother, Mike Cass and his wife Faydra of Counce, Tennessee; sister, May Rose of Ashland City, Tennessee; grandchildren, Patrick and Juli Anna; and special family she considered her grandchildren, Chad and Andrea Rose, Brad and Karlin Rose, Nathan Rose, Taylor Smith, Emma Smith, Lilly Smith, and Maggie Smith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry McVay and her brothers, Lewis and Danny Cass.
