Nannie Lear Wrenn was born November 29, 1913 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Etta Junior Rhodes.She was united in marriage to Willis Thompson Wrenn in June of 1953. Mr. Wrenn preceded her in death on July 20, 1962.Mrs. Wrenn taught school in McNairy and Hardin County. She retired from teaching in 1980 in Greenfield, TN with a combined teaching career of 45 years. She was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church in Michie, Tennessee where she taught a women's Sunday School class for approximately 25 years.She is survived by two stepdaughters, Carolyn Turner and husband William Ted of Covington, TN, Emily Kearney and husband Milton of Leland, MS; 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wrenn was preceded in death by four sisters, Bonnie Mills, Pearl Lowe, Cora Thacker, Francis Blanche Rhodes; a brother, Dan Rhodes.
