Nell McGee Clayton Daniel

Nell McGee Clayton Daniel of Adamsville, TN was born October 24, 1925 to Jobe and Lola Shirley Clayton.  She went home to be with her Savior on May 16, 2023 at the age of 97 years, 6 months, and 22 days.

Ms. Nell was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville for more than 70 years and read scripture daily.  She worked at Garan, Adamsville High School cafeteria, and Kokomo's 50's Diner.  She loved camping, working in her lawn, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Willard Lee Daniel; her parents; her brother, Shirley Neal Clayton; and sister Elizabeth Tatum.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Daniel and wife Judy of Somerville, TN and Jackie N. Daniel and wife Cora Mae of Adamsville, TN; a sister-in-law, Jennie Ann Daniel; 3 grandchildren: Blair Daniel Crossnine of Memphis, TN, Ryan Daniel and wife Jessica of Nashville, TN, and Robyn Pettigrew and husband Kip of Adamsville, TN; 5 great-grandchildren: Ethan Crossnine, Will and James Daniel, and Max and Myles Pettigrew; and a host of family and friends.
