Nellie Ruth Roland

She was born June 2, 1924, in McNairy County, the daughter of the late James "Nathan" Moore and Martha "Elmer" Webster Moore. They family moved to Chester County when she was a young girl. She attended Phillips School. She was married to Gene Roland in 1942. They made their home in Chester County. She was employed at Kilgore Corp. in Toone in 1966 and retired in 1991.Mr. Roland died in 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Carol Guinn (Steve) and Jacki Wheeler Harris (Benny) all of Henderson; four grandchildren Amy Carol Guinn Woods (Andy) of Cordova, Lance Roland Wheeler (Jacqueline) of Bethel Springs, Joshua Paul Wheeler and Kyle Jeremy Wheeler both of Henderson; a sister Audrey Juanita Moore Rowland of Selmer; three brothers Edward "Udell" Moore of Peoria, IL, Cleatus Lee Moore of Henderson and Ray Allen Moore of whom she had guardianship from 1976 until her death.
