Nettie Jane Vanhoose Logan was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 12, 1941, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Edna Earl Falls Vanhoose.

Nettie dedicated her career to nursing, working as a Nurse Anesthetist. Nettie retired from Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama, and also contributed her knowledge at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee, as well as other hospitals in Birmingham, Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and stitching needlepoint.

Nettie Jane Vanhoose Logan departed this life on Monday, March 30, 2026, in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 18 days.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Baugus; sisters-in-law, Brenda Vanhoose, Sue Vanhoose, and Beth Vanhoose; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her siblings, Vera Ruth Vanhoose, Tommy Vanhoose, Glenn Vanhoose, JW Vanhoose, and one infant sister.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
