Henderson, TN: Nevada Jean Robertson Kirby age 71, Passed away September 29, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born September 16, 1950 in Dyersburg, TN, the daughter of the late Elmer Leon and Francis Marie Humphreys Robertson. She grew up in Dyersburg.
She married Weldon Lamarr Kirby in 1980. They made their home in Henderson. He preceded in death on March 27, 2017. She was a homemaker who always cared for her family, most recently she was able to care for her great grandson Dakota, who brought her great joy and kept her going.
Mrs. Kirby is survived by four daughters, Cindy Jane Burchfiel (Ronnie) of Enville, Vicky Jean Ables of Henderson, Misty Dawn Thomas (Brian) of Henderson and Amber Nicole Ables of Henderson; sixteen grandchildren, Tamara Connelly (Ben), Ashton Capps (Dayton), Ashley Gladden (Adam), Scotty Ables, Christopher Ables (Chico), Jason Ables, Shondra Brownfield (Bray), Brett Thomas (Hailey), Briley Thomas, Brooke Thomas, Jeremy Kirby (Sabrina), Jessica Talbot (Eric), Meagan Goodman (Jonathan), Tamara Terry (Ethan), Meredith Riley and Rachel Riley; twenty great grandchildren and one on the way; step children, Kathryn Ann Kirby of Tignell, GA , Jerry Kirby and David Kirby of Henderson; four brothers, Stanley Robertson, Jimmy Robertson, Woody Robertson and Stevie Robertson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2nd at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at East Main 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday.
