Henderson, TN: Nickey Lynn Swafford age 67 passed away March 19, 2012 at his home.
He was born and reared in Chester County the son of the late Willie James and Nina Sue McCormick Swafford. He attended schools at Roby. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1965 and served until 1968. After the Navy he worked as a mechanic at Bob Parker’s Wrecker Service and then the Bemis Cotton Mill and most recently as a Supervisor at Martha White until he became disabled in 2004. He was married to Eileen Elway in 1975. They lived 12 years at Bemis and the last 17 years in the Glendale Community.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Elway Swafford of Henderson; two daughters, Michele Swafford and Nikki Prescott both of Henderson; a step daughter, Barbara Stout of Henderson; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; a brother, William Swafford of Reagan and three sisters, Linda and Tina Swafford both of Henderson and Cathy Brasher of Enville.
