Norbert “Buck†Wood
Was born on March 25, 1917 in the Pyburn Community of Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Jenny Wood.
On May 16, 1938 he was united in marriage to Vella Terry Wood, who preceded him in death on December 2, 1999.
Mr. Wood worked as a commercial fisherman.
He departed this life on April 5, 2006 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years and 11 days.
Mr. Wood is survived by his son, Jerry Rolen Wood of Adamsville, Tennessee and grandson, Mark Wood,also of Adamsville, Tennessee.
He was also preceded in death by 3 children: Alton Wood, Morris Wood and Barbara Wood.
