Norma Sue Nelson, age 81 of Ashland City, TN formerly of Waynesboro was born May 13, 1936 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late Howard Oliver and Louise Marie Blasingim Turnbow. Mrs. Nelson departed this life on Friday, December 1, 2017 at The Waters of Cheatham County in Ashland City, Tennessee at the age of 81. She was owner of Nelson's Nursing Home in Waynesboro for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Steele of Pleasant View, TN and Shelia Nelson and a son, Steven Nelson both of Waynesboro, TN, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Smith and a brother, Kenny Turnbow both of Lawrenceburg, TN, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her husband George Arnold Nelson, a son, Ricky Nelson, grandchildren, Robbie Nelson and Ricky Nelson, Jr., a sister, Carolyn Marie Turnbow, brothers, Robert A. Turnbow, J. D. Turnbow, and Junior Turnbow.
At the request of her family she was cremated.
