Norma Jean Teague

Norma Jean Teague of Ramer, TN departed this life on April 19, 2023 at the age of 81 years and 21 days.   She was born in Biloxi, MS on March 28, 1942 and was united in marriage to Charlie Lamar Teague on June 2, 1960.   

Mrs. Teague started her career at Levi Strauss & Co. and retired from the McNairy Co. Board of Education after 30+ years of service.  She was a member of Ramer Baptist Church in Ramer, TN.  

Mrs. Teague is preceded in death by her husband Lamar Teague; son in law, Ricky Hilburn; her parents, Tolbert Rushing and Roxie Randolph;  two sisters, Jewell Pearson and Lewell Windsor.   

She is survived by her daughter, Candy Hilburn of Ramer, TN; two grandchildren, Scott Hilburn of Nashville, TN and Hayley Purdy (Brock) of Ellenton, FL.
