O. D. Morgan

O. D. (Monk) Morgan of Michie, TN, was born on November 29, 1917, a son of the late Joe and Jenny Lambert Morgan. He was a member of Liberty Church of Christ and was retired from Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Company. Mr. Morgan departed this life on Friday, October 30, 2009, in Adamsville, TN, at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 1 day. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annie Milligan Morgan, his second wife, Thelma Sweat Morgan, and two children that died as infants. Also preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters, Ed Morgan, Arthur Morgan, Benton Morgan, Johnny Morgan, Mamie Gladish, Ollie Jones, Zettie Harville, and Easter Ann Morgan. He is survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
