Olamai Weatherly

Olamai Johnson Weatherly was born July 17, 1930 in Enville, TN the daughter of the late Vaude and Mary Clara Wilkerson Johnson. Mrs.Weatherly departed this life on September 4, 2010 in Germantown, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 1 Month, 18 Days.She was a graduate from Chester Co. High School in 1948 and attended UT Martin for 2 yrs. She was married to Conrad Weatherly on Oct. 21, 1950 and they moved to Memphis in 1951. Mr. Weatherly preceded her in death in 1990. She was employed by Rite Aid Drug Store for many years retiring in 2010. She was a long time member of Capleville United Methodist Church and had been attending the Collierville Bible Church since March with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter LeAnn Leonard (Jim) of Memphis, TN and by a brother Leon Johnson (Betty) of Henderson, TN and two grandchildren; Lee Madison and Zachary Conrad. Services will be held on September 8, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Memphis, Tennessee, with Jim Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at Memphis, Tennessee
