Ollie Jean (Shea) Gardner

Ollie Jean “Shea” Gardner was born in Booneville, MS on June 22, 1953 and was the beloved daughter of the late George R. Minor and Sarah Juanita Arnold Minor of Prentiss County, MS. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Radford Minor, also from Prentiss County, MS.

Shea enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her pets, flowers and garden, or fishing on the creekbank. She loved spending time with her many friends and would always answer their call no matter how tired or busy she was. Her light-hearted and joyful presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Shea departed this life on May 18, 2025 in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University Hospital at the age of 71 years, 10 months, 26 days.

She is survived by her life partner, Sammy Jones, of Shiloh, TN, and several loving cousins with whom she bonded with closely growing up around Booneville, MS.
