OMA DELL MANESS
Henderson, TN: Oma Dell Maness, age 85 passed away May 16, 2016 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born March 27, 1931 in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Shady and Anis Moore Maness. She attended school in Masseyville. She was a member of The Springs United Pentecostal Church in Bethel Springs. Ms. Maness loved to sew and was very crafty when it came to making and fixing things. She had worked at Snookum’s Steak House until her health declined.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Patterson and husband Larry of Henderson; three grandchildren, Tiffany Robinson and husband Lee, Wesley Patterson, and Jennifer Bowers and husband Ash and four great grandchildren, Matt and Jacob Robinson and Elan and Finley Bowers; a sister, Marie Sanders of Selmer; two brothers, Ralph Maness of Bethel Springs and Buel ‘Snookum' Maness of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jean Ferguson and a brother, Archie Maness.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday May 19, 2016 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Bro. Jeff Young officiating. Burial will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
