Omega Sweat

Omega Sweat was born in Michie, Tennessee on April 2, 1930 the daughter of the late Iven Washington and Nona Pyron White.On March 28, 1946 she was united in marriage to Sammie Sweat, who preceded her in death on November 29, 1991.Mrs. Sweat had worked at Brown Shoe Company and Harwood Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Mrs. Sweat was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, Tennessee.Mrs. Sweat departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the age of 80 years, 9 months, 24 days.She is survived by a son, Harlon Neal Sweat of Counce, Tennessee; a grandchild, Christopher Neal Sweat and wife Cindy; 3 sisters, Marie Byrd of Tupelo, Mississippi, Oberia Sowell and Virginia Goodwin both of Shiloh, Tennessee; 3 brothers, Rayborn White of Parsons, Tennessee, Roger White of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Phillip White of Dallas, Texas.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Tucker; 3 brothers, Gerald Junior White, Bruce Earl White and Charles Edward White, Sr.; a half sister, Ellen Cooksey; 4 half brothers, Jake White, Ray White, J.W. White and Paul White.
