Onnie Butler Thomas

Mr. Thomas died early Sunday morning, July 15, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1946 in Cullman, son of the late Robert Butler Thomas and Mabel Francis McCalmon Thomas and lived in Bolivar prior to moving to Atoka. He served on the WMHI Board and was active in the Bolivar Rotary and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was retired from management at Wal-Mart and was a Methodist in belief.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Thomas of Dyersburg; two sons, Damon Thomas of Bolivar and Brandon Thomas of Humboldt; a brother, Glenn Thomas of Vinemont, Ala.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Thomas.
