Orlie Earl Wilson

Mr. Orlie Earl Wilson departed this life on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitaion Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 8 Months, 9 Days. He was born March 21, 1926 in Collinwood, TN the son of the late Proctor P. and Myrtle Whitten Wilson.

He was united in marriage to Wilma Erlene Glass on May 29, 1948.

Mr. Wilson was a Logistics Accountant for 32 years at Occidental Chemical in Muscle Shoals, AL. He was a member of the Railroad Methodist Church in Iron City TN and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Wilma Erlene (Glass) Wilson of Waynesboro, TN, son, Wayne D. Wilson of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Wilma O. Wright of Iron City, TN; a sister, Kathleen Cates of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren, Joshua David Wright of Cloverdale, AL, Bartlett Wright of Loretto, TN, Micah Wright of Fairview , TN, Jerusa Davis and husband Dan of Knoxville, TN; he also has three great grandchildren Ava Wright,Mia Wright and Alexandria Davis, a sister, Kathleen Cates of Melbourne, FL along with several nieces.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tommy Flood officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery at Iron City, Tennessee. Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangement.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd. 5:00--9:00 pm and on Thursday, Dec. 3rd. 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN
