Orvil Younger

Orvil Younger

was born in Adamsville, Tennessee on November 9, 1939, the son of the late James Younger and Willie Iola Pitts Younger.

On April 2, 2024, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Magline Allen, who survives.

Orvil served his country proudly in the United States Army. He worked as a Route Salesman for Budweiser Company. Orvil was a member of SPC Pentecostal Church in Saltillo, Tennessee. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, riding back roads, and wrestling.

Orvil departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 17 days.

In addition to his wife Bonnie Younger of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his brother, Michael Younger of Nashville, Tennessee; and nieces and nephews, Juanita Collier, Robbie Heigh, Becky Wilbanks, Michelle Byrd, Trina Britt, Bobby Briggs, and Lamanda Gean.

Orvil was preceded in death by his parents, James and Willie Younger; daughter, Shyrl Younger; sisters, Virginia Wilbanks and Nancy Younger; and brother, James Franklin.
