Palmer O. Rust

Mr. Rust died Saturday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of New Castle, Indiana, he was the son of the late Oran Ray and Dora Merdith Rust. He lived 25 years in the city of Chicago before moving to Hardeman County in 1994 and also had lived in Indiana. Mr. Rust was a truck driver for Raffe Trucking for 25 years, after which he bought his own truck and was self-employed until retirement. On March 17, 1979 he married Lucy Mary Rust and they were married 23 years until her death on July 23, 2002. He was a Catholic in belief.
He leaves daughters, Reinita L. Lax of Nashville, Roxanna L. Boyette of Pocahontas and Sherry Rust; a step-son, Bob L. House of Nashville and two brothers in Florida.
Mr. Rust was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy; son, Wesley Danny House and brother George Rust.
