Pamela June Keener Rich of Lutts, TN departed this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 54 Years, 10 Months, 20 Days. She was born April 14, 1958 in Loretto, TN, the daughter of Charlie Edward and Peggy Joyce Kimbrell Keener of Iron City, TN who survive.
She was united in marriage to Dwight Ray Rich on July 31, 1981.
Mrs. Rich was the mother of the late Savannah Rae Rich and daughter-in-law of the late Hoover Ray Rich.
She was a librarian and of the Baptist faith.
Other than her parents and her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Amanda Kay Rich Alley and husband, Scotty of Clifton, TN; brothers, Donnie Keener and wife, Joyce and Joe Keener; sister, Dianne Pigg and husband, Tommy, all of Iron City, TN; mother-in-law, Faye Rich of Cypress Inn, TN; nieces & nephews, Tyler and Hannah Hunt, Justin and Russell Pigg, Michelle Pigg Lamprech, and Beth Keener; sister-in-law, Pam Rich Hunt and husband, Charles of Waynesboro, TN.
Services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral DirectorsChapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9 am to 1 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Justin Pigg, Russell Pigg, Richie Kimbrell, Tyler Hunt, Jimmy Robbins, and Blake Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry McFall, Donald Balentine, Ross Pigg, Sonny Robbins, and Landon Smith.
